
Cunningham Concludes Action at USATF Juniors

CLOVIS, Calif. – Gabriele Cunningham set a personal best of 13.49 in the 100m hurdles Saturday night at the USATF Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Charlotte, N.C., native has concluded action at the meet and her breakout freshman year.
Cunningham shaved .34 off her personal best and set the third-fastest time in school history with the mark of 13.49. She finished sixth in her heat and 10th overall.
Cunningham has concluded her true freshman season in which she earned All-ACC honors in the 100m dash and also advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary in the event. Cunningham set top-five marks in school history in the 60m dash, 60m hurdles, 100m dash and 100m hurdles during her opening season.
