Wolfpack Adds Frances Henshall to Roster

RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer head coach Tim Santoro announced the addition of freshman midfielder Frances Henshall to the roster Monday morning.

A first-generation American whose family hails from South Africa, Henshall was a member of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) from 2011-12 and played her club soccer with North Carolina Fusion from 2012-16. She also played high school soccer for Grimsley HS (Greensboro, NC), earning All-Conference honors from 2013-16 and All-Region honors from 2014-16.

"Frances is an extremely intelligent and technical player who understands the game and plays with a lot of composure," Santoro said. "We're fortunate to add a player of Frances' caliber this late in the process and she will enhance an already good recruiting class."
