Wolfpack women move up on USTFCCCA poll after ACC win
NEW ORLEANS - After being crowned ACC Champions last Friday, the NC State women's cross country team has moved up to No. 2 nationally, according to USTFCCCA's Coaches' Poll. This marks the team's highest ranking since 2006, when it tied that position. Throughout the course of the season, the women have consistently earned a spot in the poll's top five.
Pack Rising
Last season the women finished fifth at the NCAA Championship meet, and debuted with the same rank to start the 2016 season. The team held the No. 5 spot through the first three weeks, until jumping to the No. 3 rank, following breakout results at the Notre Dame Invitational.
