Dr. Brian Goldman was born in St. Louis, MO and spend most of his childhood in Raleigh. He attended Duke University where he was a captain for the men's varsity swim team. He studied medicine at Wake Forest University and then did his internship and residency in Seattle, WA.
He has been a sports physician at the high school and collegiate level since 1990. He has been with the NC State Sports Medicine Department since 2001.
He became board certified in internal medicine in 1993. He enjoys caring for adults of all ages - from teens to over 100 years old. He is an avid athlete and participates in masters swimming. His other interests include spending time with his family, photography, reading, outdoor activities, swim instruction, and travel.
