Cam joined NC State Athletics staff as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for wrestling and tennis in August of 2025.
He brings an enormous amount of Division I experience from his previous times as Colorado College, Penn State, College of Charleston, Clemson, Marshall, and Wyoming.

A former masters-level weightlifter, Davidson competed from 2010-2018, he now has been competing in jiu jitsu since 2023. He is SCCC certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, CSCS certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, has his Level 1 weightlifting certification through USA weightlifting, and has taken advanced certifications through Columbus Weightlifting and Totten Training Systems.
Davidson and his wife Kaleena, a former assistant women's volleyball coach and student-athlete at Penn State, have two daughters, Ansley & Adalyn.
