Amanda Banta

Amanda Banta joined the Wolfpack coaching staff in August of 2018. A 2012 Olympian, Banta brings a wealth of experience to NC State following a lengthy career with Team USA spanning nearly 10 years.
After serving as an alternate for the 2008 games, Banta qualified for the US Olympic Team in 2012 finishing 12th in the London Games. She was a member of the 2010 US team that won the World Championships and set a world record. Her international career includes the 2015 Pan American Games, 2014 World Championship Team and a bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games.
Banta graduated from Ohio State in 2013 where she was a four-year member of the Buckeye Rifle Team and earned her bachelor's degree in business administration/economics.
