As a Senior (2023): Appeared in nine matches…Logged 165 minutes…Played a season-high 37 minutes in NC State’s 2-1 win at Charlotte (Aug. 20).

As a Junior (2022): Appeared in 13 games…Tallied 467 minutes, including 73 minutes against No. 5 Duke (Sept. 25)...Recorded a career-high 10 shots throughout the season.

As a Freshman (Fall 2021): Made 16 appearances, including two starts and played a combined 464 minutes…Assisted Denae Antoine on her goal vs. No. 5 Virginia on September 26…Put four of her seven shots on the year on target…Played a season-high 57 minutes on November 19 vs. #7 Pepperdine in the NCAA Second Round.

As a Freshman (Spring 2021): Started all nine matches in her first season with the Wolfpack, playing a total of 658 minutes…Played the full 90 at VCU, which was a single-game career best…Three of her four shots on the year were on target.

Prior to NC State: Comes from a successful Beach FC (VA) club that is a three-time state champion and USYSA Region I finalist...On an individual level, Vaughan was a member of the USYSA Region I ODP team and was selected to the Generation Adidas All-Star Team that played in Lyon, France in 2017.

Santoro on Vaughan: "Mia is another one of the left-footed players we targeted in this class. She is athletic and strong, with good technical ability, and we'll have her play in different roles on the flank depending on our formation. We feel Mia will have an impact on our left side."
