At Louisburg College
• Louisburg only played two games in 2021 (the season was moved from the fall of 2020 to the spring of 2021).
• Injured in 2019, he redshirted the season.
In High School:
• Did not start playing football until his junior season at Southern Nash, where he played for coach Brian Foster.
• Was in the same graduating class at Southern Nash as RB Zonovan Knight.
• Senior Stats: Pulled down six interceptions as a senior, including returning one for a TD. Also had a pair of kickoff returns for scores. Team advanced to the NC 3A state second round and finished 10-1 his senior season.
• Played four seasons of varsity basketball and averaged 15.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game as a senior.
Personal
• Younger brother of Dwayne Herndon, who played on the defensive line between 2003-05.
