Matt Keane joined NC State Athletics in the Spring of 2018 as the Director of Compliance. At NC State, Keane is responsible for wrestling, men's soccer, softball, women's golf, and rifle.
Prior to coming to NC State, Keane spent almost two years as the Director of Compliance at Towson University. At Towson, he was responsible for the administration of a comprehensive NCAA compliance program for all 19 sports. His duties included initial and continuing eligibility, rules education, financial aid and he was the main contact for interpretation requests.
Previously, he held the position of Assistant Director of Compliance at Georgetown University from October 2013 until April 2016 and was the Compliance Assistant at Colgate University from January 2013 until October 2013. Keane also has experience with the United States Anti-Doping Agency in Colorado Springs.Â
Keane is from Greensboro, N.C., and received his bachelor's degree in Economics from NC State in 2010. He went on to receive his master's degree in Sport Administration from Canisius College in 2012.
