Bio
Clint “C.C.’ Harrison will battle for a starting berth in the Wolfpack backcourt after providing support off the bench as a freshman … A superb outside shooter with fine all-around athletic ability, C.C. grew more comfortable on the court throughout the 1994-95 campaign … Coaches expect him to continue his improvement during his sophomore season.
Freshman Season: C.C. gave the Wolfpack backcourt a shot in the arm coming off the bench … He played in all 27 games and averaged 3.8 points and 1.3 rebounds … A solid ball handler, he committed just 13 turnovers with 25 assists and 27 steals … Despite limited playing time (16 minutes per game), he was fourth on the team in steals … He scored a career-high 12 points against UNC-Asheville, canning five of seven shots from the floor … His only other venture into double-digit scoring was a 10 point effort at home against Maryland … Scored eight big points during State’s upset victory over No. 1 ranked North Carolina in Raleigh.
High School Career: Led Reidsville High School to the state 3-A title and a perfect 30-0 record during his senior season … Earned MVP honors at the sectional, regional and state tournaments … Contributed 33 points and five assists in the state championship victory (80-79) over Winston-Salem Parkland and also hit the game-winning shot with two seconds remaining … During the year he averaged 24.1 points, 5.2 assists and 4.4 steals per game … Connected on 52 percent of his field goal attempts with a 50 percent mark from three-point range and an 80.6 percent accuracy rate from the free throw line … Scored a season-high 35 points in a 122-73 win over Rockingham Central … Named the state’s top player by the Associated Press and The Greensboro News & Record … A McDonald’s honorable mention All-America … Named the 1994 Triad 3-A Conference Player of the Year … Participated in the North Carolina East-West All-Star game and scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds in 25 minutes … As a junior at Reidsville, he averaged 16 points and four assists while leading the team to a 23-6 record … As a sophomore starter at point guard, he contributed 10 points per game for a 23-6 squad.
Personal: Undecided on a major at this time … Born on September 23, 1976.
