• Junior Stats: Started at left tackle. Helped lead his team to a 13-1 record and a repeat as conference champions at 7-0. Team advanced to the NC 4AA state semifinals.
• Sophomore Stats: First season as a starter on the OL. Helped lead team to an 11-2 record and a conference championship at 7-0. Team advanced to the NC 4AA state quarterfinals.
• Honors: Earned all-state and all-conference honors as a junior and all-conference honors as a sophomore.
• Rankings: Ranked as the No. 59 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 21 player in the state (second-highest among offensive linemen) by Rivals.com. Also ranked as the No. 68 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 43 player in North Carolina by 247Sports.com.
