As a RS - SOPHOMORE (2016):
• Backup quarterback who saw action in 10 games and was the team’s fourth-leading rusher.
• Came in during the second half of the Notre Dame contest and rushed for 56 yards on 10 carries. Also completed two pass attempts to help milk the clock in a driving rainstorm.
• Led the longest drive of the day against the Fighting Irish for either team (7:49) in the 3rd quarter. Even though the Pack did not score on that contest, it ate up clock and gave the Irish the ball at their own 25.
• Responsible for three touchdowns in three plays in the first 3 quarters of the ODU game. Rushed for two and threw for one.
AS A RS - FRESHMAN (2015):
• Saw action in seven games, he led the Wolfpack to two scores in the win at South Alabama. Completed .571 of his pass attempts for the season.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014):
• Redshirted the season at quarterback.
IN HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played quarterback at for coach Jeff Caldwell. As a freshman, he was a 5’9 option quarterback.
• Led team to a 9-3 record and a berth in the NC 4AA state playoffs in 2013.
• Also played high school basketball.
• Senior Stats: Threw for over 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns.
• Junior Stats: Threw for over 1,700 yards and 22 touchdowns and rushed for over 200 yards and six touchdowns.
• Honors: Played in the 2013 North Carolina-South Carolina Shrine Bowl. Was the starting QB for North Carolina, completing 16-of-26 passes for 164 yards.
• Rankings: the No. 15 quarterback nationally by scout.com. No. 18 pro-style quarterback and No. 22 player in North Carolina by rivals.com. No. 20 pocket-passer quarterback nationally and the No. 16 player in North Carolina by ESPN.com.
