As a junior (2012)
• Went 5-4 with a 3.38 ERA, striking out 71 over 90.2 innings. Started 13 of 19 appearances.
• Finished the season ranked 16th among ACC pitchers in ERA (3.38)
• Handled both closer and starter duties in 2012, starting 13 out of 19 appearances
• Turned in his longest career outing, going 8 2/3 with seven strikeouts in an elimination game against UNC Wilmington
• NC State's opening day starter, went four innings, allowing three hits and two unearned runs, striking out five of the 15 batters he faced
• Made his first relief appearance of the season against UNC Wilmington, pitching four perfect innings to record the win, striking out six of the 12 batters he retired in order
• Pitched four innings of relief against Coastal Carolina, taking a tough loss after giving up three hits, two runs, one earned, striking out seven and walking two
• Received the save against UNC-Wilmington, striking out two over two hitless innings
• Closed game two against Georgia Tech, earning the save by throwing just 11 pitches
• Rallied to get the win by pitching 5 2/3 innings, striking out three and giving up three earned runs on six hits in game one of the Pack's series sweep over Wake Forest

• Took the loss after tossing seven innings in the series-opener at Maryland, allowing four runs, all earned, on eight hits, striking out four and walking one
• Ended up with a no decision on 4 2/3 against Clemson in the Friday's 12-inning loss, allowing four runs, all earned on seven hits and four walks
• Lasted 4 1/3 in State's Friday loss to Boston College, giving up three runs, two earned, on three hits and two walks in a no decision
• Threw 1 1/3 innings of no-hit relief to seal the Pack's 4-0 Friday win over Duke in a non-save situation
• Came in as relief in the second inning of State's Sunday win over Duke, going 3 2/3 innings, allowing two earned on five hits and one walk for a no decision
• Pitched 7 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out a season-high nine for a Sunday win against CSU Bakersfield
As a sophomore (2011)
• Emerged as a reliable pitcher for the Wolfpack, working effectively as a starter and out of the bullpen
• Made eight starts and was 2-2 with a 5.67 ERA in 33 1/3 innings
• Worked 12 games out of the bullpen and was 4-2 with a 3.18 ERA in 28 1/3 innings
• Made his first start of 2011 on March 11 vs. Davidson and was dominant, taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning, retiring 15 of the first 16 men he faced, and striking out a career-high 11
• Came out of the bullpen March 23 vs. Northwestern and got the win after allowing just one run on three hits in four innings, striking out four
• Started and took a no-hitter into the fifth inning March 29 at UNC Greensboro, and wound up allowing three hits in six shutout innings to earn his second win of the season
• Came out of the bullpen April 3 in the final game of the Wake Forest series and got the win after allowing two runs on five hits
• Retired nine of the 10 men he faced April 10 in the finale of the Miami series, working 3 1/3 shutout innings and striking out three
• Pitched four shutout innings May 1 in the final game of the Maryland series to pick up his fifth win of the season
• Carried a two-hit shutout into the sixth inning May 19 in the opener of the Boston College series and wound up pitching six-plus innings and allowing two runs on six hits in the Wolfpack's 9-4 victory
As a freshman (2010)
• Made his college debut Feb. 27 vs. James Madison at Baseball at the Beach, tossing a shutout inning and allowing a hit and a walk while recording one strikeout
• Made his first start March 6 vs. Quinnipiac, allowing two runs in 2 1/3 innings
• Worked 1 2/3 scoreless innings April 28 vs. Elon, allowing one hit and striking out one
• Made his longest outing of the season May 7 in the opener of the Towson series, pitching four innings and allowing two runs on three hits
• Picked up his second win of the year with two innings of relief May 22 vs. Duke
• Worked two scoreless innings June 5 vs. Stony Brook in the NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional
Summer league
• Made two appearances and was 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 10 innings in 2010 for the Thomasville HiToms on the Coastal Plain League
High school
• Played at Southwest Guilford High School for head coach Reid Holmes
• Earned all-state, all-region and all-conference honors after going 5-7 with a 1.95 ERA and three saves as a senior in 2009
• Worked 79 innings and struck out 122
• Chosen to play in the 2009 North Carolina East-West All-Star Game, and the North Carolina-South Carolina All-Star Baseball Challenge
• Helped lead Southwest Guilford to a 15-12 overall record, 8-2 in the Piedmont Triad 3-A Conference, and a berth in the state 3-A playoffs
• Had a 3-3 record with a 1.69 ERA and two saves in 13 appearances
