As a redshirt-sophomore (2011)
• Made his first start of the year and was the hitting star of the first game of the Radford series, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs and matching his career highs for hits and RBIs
• Had a single and a double and drove in a run in five at-bats March 16 vs. George Mason
• Had a double, two singles, scored four times and drove in a run in four at-bats April 3 in the final game of the Wake Forest series
• Went 2-for-4 on April 8 in the opener of the Miami series
• Wrapped up a productive UNC series on April 17 by going 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs
As a sophomore (2010)
• Did not play, redshirted
As a freshman (2009)
• Saw limited action as a reserve outfielder, but played in nine of the Wolfpack's 11 games in May and batted .429 (9-for-21) with three doubles, three home runs and 10 RBIs
• Started the season with a bang, going 2-for-3 in his first college action, February 21 vs. Xavier
• Went 4-for-5 with a double, three home runs and six RBIs in a May 3 doubleheader vs. North Carolina Central
• Went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs in the Clemson series
Summer league
• Played for the Forest City Owls of the Coastal Plain League in 2011 and batted .268 with seven doubles, four home runs and 13 RBIs in 31 games
High school
• Batted .470 with seven doubles, 10 home runs and 23 RBIs as a senior for head coach Milton Senter at Fuquay-Varina High School in 2008
• Ranked fourth in the state of North Carolina in home runs
• Set school records for career hits, runs scored and RBIs
• Batted .441 with nine home runs and 31 RBIs as a junior in 2007
• Drew nine walks and was hit by four pitches for a .512 on-base percentage
• Helped lead Fuquay-Varina to a 15-9 record
