Student:
Contact the NC State Counseling Center or Sport Psychology staff (sportpsychology@ncsu.edu).
- In person at Campus Health Center (2815 Cates Ave).
- Initial appointments scheduled online or by calling 919-515-2423 (24/7 call line with Counselor on Call).
Coach/staff:
- Contact the Employee Assistance Program or a qualified clinician. If you’re on the State Health Plan, you have access to mental health providers and counseling covered by insurance.
- Use the NC Problem Gambling Helpline (877-718-5543) for specialized gambling support.
- North Carolina Problem Gambling Helpline (Statewide) - Even with on-campus support, specialized gambling help can be important. These are confidential, free, and available 24/7:
