WOLFPACK SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS
Now that you've completed your workbook! Watch these videos and conduct your own science experiments like the Wolfpack Women!
Baking Soda Volcano - #23 Grace Hunter
Supplies: Spoon, Tray, ​​​​​​​Mini Volcano, ​​​​​​​Dish Soap, ​​​​​​​1 teaspoon Baking Soda, ​​​​​​​Vinegar
Directions:
- Scoop baking soda into the top of the volcano until full.
- Add 2 drops of dish soap on top of the baking soda.
- Slowly pour vinegar on top of volcano to create an eruption.
Filling a Balloon without Air - #1 Ace Konig
Supplies: Balloon, Beaker (can use a water or soda bottle). 2 teaspoons Baking Soda, ​​​​​​​3 tablespoons Vinegar, ​​​​​​​Funnel, ​​​​​​​Spoon
​​​​​​​Directions
- Pour 3 tablespoons of vinegar into beaker/bottle.
- Use funnel to spoon 2 teaspoons of baking soda into balloon.
- Carefully stretch balloon over the top of the beaker/bottle without spilling in the baking soda.
- Once secured, lift balloon over the top of the glass so the baking soda pours into the vinegar.
- The reaction between the vinegar and baking soda will inflate the balloon.
