In 2010: Began the season as the starter at right tackle, he got the nod in the first two games before injuring his elbow in the win over Central Florida ... Missed the next three games with the injury and then played sparingly the rest of the year ... Listed as the starter at right tackle heading into 2011 fall camp ... Enrolled at NC State in January of 2010.
JUCO/Prep: Transferred to NC State from Snow College in Utah, where he started at left tackle for Coach Steve Coburn ... Earned all-conference honors in 2009 and posted a 3.8 GPA ... Rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com... Originally enrolled at Washington State in 2007, where he walked on and red-shirted at tight end ... A graduate of Weiser High School, where he earned four letters each in football, basketball and track... An all-state performer as a junior and senior ... Earned all-conference and all-state honors in basketball... Captured state championship in the discus, setting a school record with a throw of 149-11... Majoring in human biology.
