RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's tennis team was ranked No. 11 in the ITA Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll, as the organization announced Wednesday.
The ranking marks the seventh consecutive year the Pack has appeared inside the ITA Preseason Poll's top 15, with its highest preseason ranking coming at No. 3 ahead of the 2022–23 season. A year ago, NC State opened the spring campaign ranked No. 14.
NC State is coming off a successful fall season, highlighted by the program's second national championship, won by Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe at the NCAA Doubles Championship.
The Pack also sent a program-record six entries, four singles players and two doubles teams, to the NCAA Individual Championships at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., before capturing its second national title.
Heading into the 2026 season, three NC State players have already secured All-America status: Broadfoot, Osuigwe and Mia Slama. Osuigwe earned doubles All-America honors, Slama was recognized as a singles All-American, and Broadfoot claimed both distinctions following her run at the national tournament.
NC State is coming off a 19-7 dual season in spring 2025, advancing to its sixth straight NCAA Sweet 16. With a strong blend of experience and new talent, the Pack looks to continue building on its recent stretch of national success.
