
Wolfpack Named ITA All-Academic Team, Three Earn Scholar-Athlete Recognition

RALEIGH, N.C. - Three members of the 2024-25 NC State women's tennis team have been named 2025 Division I Women's ITA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Monday. Gabia Paskauskas, Maddy Zampardo, and Mia Slama each earned the individual recognition, while the Wolfpack was also honored as an ITA All-Academic Team.
NC State has now had at least one player earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for eight consecutive seasons. All three honorees received the award for the first time in their careers.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements: Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements: Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
