RALEIGH – Men's soccer concluded its spring stint in April, going undefeated across five matches and only giving up two goals.
The Wolfpack completed its second spring season under head coach Marc Hubbard, securing wins over USL team Charlotte Independence, and ACC foes North Carolina, and Pittsburgh.
Two of the teams the Pack battled against finished the 2024 season in the United Soccer Coaches Poll top-25 rankings, No. 7 Pitt and No. 17 Virginia, while North Carolina received votes as well.
Posting three wins and two draws secured the undefeated slate for the red-and-white.
NC State welcomed two new student-athletes at the start of the semester for the spring, Carlos Santamaria (Mercer transfer) and Justin McLean (Georgia State transfer) who played a key role and were able to showcase their talents to the team throughout the five matches.
