Nine From Pack Football Named to ACC All-Academic Team

Nine members of the 2024 NC State Football squad have been named to the ACC's All-Academic team for their performance in the classroom, the league office announced today.

The Wolfpack's list of honorees includes two players who earned their third all-academic honor: offensive guard Anthony Carter, Jr., and kicker Collin Smith.  Carter, who is returning for his third year as a starter, is pursuing a master's in liberal studies. Smith completed his eligibility last season while working on his MBA.

Running back Demarcus Jones, TE Reid Mitchell, OL Matt McCabe, punter Caden Noonkester and RB Jordan Waters earned mention for the second time in their careers, while LS Aiden Arias and DE Isaiah Shirley earned their first career honors.Â
