NC State Women’s Golf Releases 2024-25 Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's golf team has announced its 2024-25 schedule, as revealed on Wednesday. NC State will play in 10 regular season tournaments, including two at home. The Pack is looking to make its 20th NCAA Regional appearance as a team and fifth NCAA Championship berth in Darby Sligh's second season at the helm, seventh overall.
NC State will play in four fall tournaments, beginning with the Cougar Classic hosted by the College of Charleston from Sept. 9-10 at Yeamans Hall Club in Hanahan, South Carolina. At last year's Cougar Classic, senior Lauren Olivares Leon broke the NCAA 18-hole record with a 60 in the second round.
The Pack will play at the Cavalier Regional Preview hosted by Virginia from Sept. 23-24 at Birdwood Golf Club in Charlottesville, Virginia. NC State will then stay close to home to play at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational from Oct. 11-13 at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Closing out the fall slate, the Pack will play at the Landfall Tradition hosted by UNCW from Oct. 25-27 at the Country Club of Landfall.
The Pack's regular season will close out with six spring tournaments. NC State will kick off the spring in Guadalajara, Mexico at the Collegiate Invitational hosted by UVA from Jan. 31-Feb. 1. The tournament will be played at the Guadalajara Country Club.
The Pack will host its first of two tournaments with the City of Oaks Collegiate from March 21-22 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. NC State will then play at the ECU Ironwood Invitational from March 31 to April 1 at Ironwood Golf Club in Greenville, North Carolina.
Priming for postseason and the ACC Championship, NC State will host Wolfpack Matchplay at Lonnie Poole on Monday, April 7.
ACC Championship is set for April 16-19 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The ACC Championship will consist of three rounds of stroke play and the top teams from stroke play will move on to match play.
The NCAA Regional Championship is set for May 5-7 at six different host sites, including Charlottesville (Birdwood Golf Course), Columbus, Ohio (OSU Golf Club - Scarlet Course), Golf Canyon, Arizona (Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club), Lexington, Kentucky (University Club of Kentucky), Lubbock, Texas (The Rawls Course) and Norman, Oklahoma (Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club). For the second straight year, the NCAA Championship will be hosted at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa - Champions Course in Carlsbad, California, set for May 16-21.
The Pack return seven from the 2023-24 squad and welcome one freshman, Marie Eline Madsen from Viborg, Denmark.
