Karamoko Named to ACC Men’s Soccer Preseason Watch List

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's soccer forward, Hakim Karamoko, was named to the 2024 ACC Preseason Watch List on Wednesday afternoon.
Out of the 15 schools among the conference, the Wolfpack member is the youngest on the watch list. Karamoko, a sophomore from New York City enters his second year in the red-and-white after closing last season with All-ACC Freshman Team honors. As a freshman, the forward tied for second on the NC State roster with four goals and ranked third with nine points.
He made 12 total appearances on the pitch, making a pair of starts in nonconference action against Howard and Gardner-Webb. His four goals spread through a five-match span beginning at Louisville and included Gardner-Webb, Syracuse, and Clemson. The goal against the Tigers being the most notable, aiding in the conclusion of a 1-1 tie against the 10th-ranked team in the country at the time.
