RALEIGH, N.C. -- The NC State women's basketball team is set to play Tennessee next season at Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, as announced by the Gazelle Group Tuesday. The Pack and Lady Vols will tipoff on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025.
Television information and tipoff time will be announced at a later date.
The Pack is currently ranked No. 13 in the AP Poll, coming off the program's first NCAA Final Four since 1998. Head coach Wes Moore has led his Wolfpack teams to five Sweet 16 appearances, two Elite Eights and one Final Four. NC State will face a Lady Vols team, who has started the year 2-0, and is led by first-year head coach Kim Caldwell who brings a high tempo attack on both ends of the floor.
NC State and Tennessee have not played one another in the regular season since 2004. The Pack is coming off a 79-72 NCAA Tournament victory last season, which sent NC State to the Sweet 16. NC State trails the Lady Vols 4-12 in the all-time series that stretches back to 1976.
