Freshman Betti Fabian Places Fifth in 2024 World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup

The best is yet to come! Freshman Betti Fabian honorably represented her country of Hungary over the weekend competing in the 2024 World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup in Setubal, Portugal. Fabian (19) finished fifth overall in the women's open water 10km event with a time of 2:18:36:20.

This was Fabians first open water event since competing in the women's 10km in the 2024 Paris Olympics over the summer. Fabian placed fifth in this event as well.

Fabian has yet to make her collegiate debut with the Pack, but has really made a name for herself with three gold, three silver, and two bronze medals all to her name. Fabian joins the group of elite Wolfpack freshmen, including Olympians David Betlehem, and Kaii Winkler.
