Eight From Men’s Soccer Recognized on All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Eight NC State men's soccer student-athletes were named to the 2023 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday morning.

The following Wolfpack men's soccer student-athletes were named to the 2023 All-ACC Academic Team – Will Buete, Jonathan Cisneros, Kendall Edwards, Drew Lovelace, Scotty Taylor, Emil Thyregod, Caden Tolentino and Yuta Toya.

Buete, Edwards, Lovelace and Tolentino each earned All-ACC Academic Team honors for the second time in their NC State careers. Taylor also earned his second All-ACC Academic Team honor after earning his first following his 2022 season at Duke.

In order to be named to the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during his or her academic career. Athletic achievements, such as playing in 50% of a team's contest during the most recent season, are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team members.
