Ray Guy Award Names Caden Noonkester to Weekly ‘Ray’s Eight’ List

RALEIGH, N.C. – Punter Caden Noonkester helped flip the field throughout NC State's 24-21 win over Virginia. As a result, The Ray Guy Award committee selected him as a member of the weekly "Ray's Eight" top punters list Tuesday.

Noonkester averaged 50 yards on eight punts, with two being downed inside the 10-yard line against the Cavilers, including two 67-yard punts matching his career best.

With an average punt of 44.7 yards, Noonkester leads the ACC and is 15^th in the nation in the category. The Waxhax, N.C. native has totaled 861 yards on 18 punts this season.

Noonkester and the Wolfpack will be back in action on Friday, September 29, at 7 p.m. as they get set to host Louisville for a blackout at Carter-Finley Stadium.
