#Pack9 Announces Fall Exhibition Against Duke at Durham Bulls Athletic Park

Oct. 13 Contest at DBAP Will be Only Fall Contest
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State baseball team and head coach Elliott Avent announced the Wolfpack's 2023 fall schedule on Wednesday morning. NC State will play its sole fall exhibition against Duke on Friday, Oct. 13, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
First pitch for Oct. 13's matchup is set for 5 p.m. Fans can purchase general admission tickets for $10 at the attached link or at the Durham Bulls ticket office. Gates will open to the general public at 4:30 p.m., while scouts can enter the facility at any time via the front lobby by showing their ID.
NC State's fall roster is comprised of 40 student-athletes, featuring 20 returners and 20 newcomers. The Wolfpack sports the No. 24 recruiting class in the nation according to Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. Battery pairing Jacob Cozart (No. 8) and Dominic Fritton (No. 56) rank inside the top 60 of D1Baseball's 2024 MLB Draft Top 100 College Prospects List.
The Wolfpack finished its 2023 season with a 36-21 record, advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the 33rd time in program history with a berth in the NCAA Columbia Regional. NC State has made an NCAA Regional appearance in 17 of the past 20 national tournaments dating back to 2003.
NC State defeated the Blue Devils 8-7 in the most recent spring matchup. The Wolfpack opened the 2023 ACC Tournament with a victory in extra innings over the Blue Devils, outlasting Duke in 11 innings.
