RALEIGH — The Wolfpack women's basketball program has announced its non-conference slate for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
Featuring 12 total dates, the team's early-season schedule includes seven home contests in addition to a preseason exhibition inside Reynolds Coliseum. NC State will take on a pair of squads that finished last season ranked in the AP Top 25, highlighted by a home contest against UConn that rounds out a home-and-home series between the squads. It will mark the Pack's third season in a row facing the Huskies and will be UConn's first trip to Raleigh since Nov. 24, 2002.
Limited season tickets are still available for the 2023-24 campaign. Season tickets can be purchased at GoPack.com/WBBTickets or by calling the NC State Athletics Ticket Office at 919-865-1510.
Entering the 11th season under the leadership of head coach Wes Moore, NC State has put together a dominant home-court advantage in his tenure. The Pack has gone 100-15 (.870) at home since the renovation of Reynolds Coliseum was completed in August 2016.
NC State opens its schedule with four home games in the first 12 days of the season. After hosting a preseason tuneup against Catawba (Nov. 2), the Pack will welcome Charlotte (Nov. 7), UConn (Nov. 12), Elon (Nov. 15) and Rhode Island (Nov. 19) to Raleigh.
The Wolfpack then heads to the U.S. Virgin Islands to compete in the 2023 Paradise Jam. The squad has games against Kentucky (Nov. 23), Cincinnati (Nov. 24) and Colorado (Nov. 25) scheduled over that Thanksgiving weekend tournament.
NC State returns home to host Vanderbilt for its inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge game on Nov. 29 and then takes on Illinois State (Dec. 3) and Liberty (Dec. 10) on back-to-back Sundays. The Wolfpack then hits the road as it travels to South Florida on Dec. 16 and rounds out its non-conference slate at Old Dominion on Dec. 20.
Tip-off times and television designations for the games will be announced at a later date.
The Wolfpack's 2023-24 Atlantic Coast Conference schedule will be released by the league office in the coming weeks. NC State is set to play home games against Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest this season.
