NC State posts third straight top 25 finish in Directors' Cup
For the first time in school history, the Wolfpack has posted back-to-back top 20 finishes in the Learfield Directors' Cup, which measures all-sport success. NC State's No. 19 ranking following the 2022-23 athletic year also marks the first time the Pack has finished in the top 25 in three consecutive years and was the third-highest final ranking in school history.
The Wolfpack enjoyed unprecedented success over the past year, as women's cross country has brought home its second straight national title, and an ACC-leading four NC State teams won league championships: cross country, men's swimming, wrestling and women's tennis. Six teams finished in the top 10 nationally (cross country, 1st; women's tennis, 2nd; men's swimming 5th; women's swimming, 5th; women's indoor track, 6th;Â and wrestling,10th) and NC State was one of just eight D1 schools to advance to the postseason in all of its "Big Four" sports: football, men's basketball, women's basketball and baseball.

Seven different Wolfpack student-athletes brought home national titles in six different events and 28 individual ACC titles in 2022-23.
