Horne Awarded ACC Dr. Pepper Go Teach Scholarship

Charlotte, N.C. - Wolfpack wrestling's Chase Horne was awarded the ACC's Dr. Pepper Go Teach Scholarship, as announced by the conference on November 30, 2023.

15 student-athletes of each ACC school were chosen by campus representatives to be granted the scholarship money. In the coming weeks the ACC's awards committee will select one overall candidate to win a grand prize of $15,000.

Horne will receive $2,500 on behalf of the College Football Playoff Foundation and Dr. Pepper to further aid him in future endeavors of his education or career in education.

The redshirt freshman is a native of West Laurens, G.A., and is studying middle grades education a part of NC State's College of Education department.
