Hakim Karamoko Named to ACC All-Freshman Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – NC State men's soccer freshman Hakim Karamoko was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference office on Wednesday morning.
Karamoko, a freshman forward from New York City, is the first NC State player to earn ACC All-Freshman Team honors since Manny Perez and David Loera in 2017. Karamoko tied for second on the Wolfpack roster with four goals this season. He also ranked third on the team with nine points, scoring four goals and dishing out an assist in his first collegiate season.
The freshman forward made 12 total appearances for NC State in his first season in Raleigh, making a pair of starts in nonconference action against Howard and Gardner-Webb. He scored four goals in a five-match span beginning at Louisville on Sept. 24, netting a goal against the Cardinals, Gardner-Webb, Syracuse and Clemson.
