Arens Takes Home ACC Swimmer of the Week Honor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Wolfpack picked up their first ACC Swimmer of the Week honors, with Abby Arens taking home the award for her performance this past weekend at Arizona State.
Arens helped the Wolfpack Women beat Arizona State by a 169.5 to 130.5 score, highlighted by three event wins. The team claimed the top finish in 11 of 16 events contested in Friday night's meet.
Arens' three victories came in the 100 (50.83) and 200-yard (2:08.94) breaststroke events, and she rounded out her night with first place in the 100-yard butterfly (51.91).
The Wolfpack Women also saw the only relay win, a 1:37.07 performance in the 200-yard medley, which Arens was a part of.
