Women’s Tennis Adds Three Star-Studded Signees

RALEIGH – NC State women's tennis welcomed a trio of highly-touted signees for its future freshman class, as Gabriella Broadfoot, Reya Coe and Maddy Zampardo all signed National Letters of Intent to join the Wolfpack beginning with the 2023-24 season.
Gabriella Broadfoot – Sarasota, Fla.
Career-high ITF ranking of No. 97 … WTA doubles ranking of No. 1,174 … Singles finalist at the 2022 J1 Asuncion Bowl in Paraguay … Singles quarterfinalist at the 2022 J1 Coffee Bowl in Costa Rica … 2022 J1 Maryland singles quarterfinalist … Won the doubles crown at the 2022 W15 event in Cancun with current Wolfpack junior Abigail Rencheli … Doubles finalist at the 2022 J1 Coffee Bowl in Costa Rica … Doubles semifinalist at the 2022 JB1 Panamerican with fellow signee Zampardo.

Fourth blue chip recruit in program history … Currently No. 9 in the Class of 2023 and the top-ranked recruit out of Michigan … No. 9 in UTSA Junior rankings … Ranked as high as the No. 7 recruit in her class and consistently ranked as a Top 10 recruit throughout her junior career … Singles finalist at 2022 ITF JB1 Pan American … Singles finalist at the 2022 Rome UTR PTT $25K tournament … Claimed doubles titles at the 2021 and 2022 USTA National Junior Doubles Championships … Also doubles winner at the 2021 USTA 18s Clay courts National Championships and was a finalist at the event in 2022 … Doubles title at the 2020 Orange Bowl 16s.
