Pedregosa, Krapf Named to 2021 All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wolfpack goalkeeper Leon Krapf and defender Pablo Pedregosa were both honored as members of the 2021 All-ACC Academic Men's Soccer Team, as announced by the league office on Thursday morning.
Both men were also recognized with this award last season, and this marks the fourth such honors of Krapfs' career.
Krapf, who just earned his Master's in Accounting, previously graduated Summa Cum Laude with his undergraduate degree in December of 2020. He is a recipient of an ACC Postgraduate Scholarship and was named a 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-American. The Gochsheim, Germany, native finished his collegiate career with a perfect 4.0 GPA. On the field, Krapf wrapped up his time with the Wolfpack by owning the program record in career GAA (1.11) and ranking second in team history in career shutouts (25).
Pedregosa is in the middle of his junior year at NC State and is majoring in Sport Management. He has compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.94 and has made the Dean's List each of his five completed semesters with the Wolfpack. A native of Villareal, Spain, Pedregosa played in 16 matches in 2021 and clocked 90+ minutes in all but two of those games. He recorded a career-high 10 shots this past season and netted a goal against Hight Point.
To earn selection to the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during his or her academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
