Knight Named to Paul Hornung Honor Roll

RALEIGH, N.C. - Wolfpack third-year running back Zonovan Knight earned mention on this week's Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll. Knight turned in 204 all-purpose yards in the Wolfpack's 45-0 win over South Florida.

Knight rushed for a game-high 163 yards, scoring a touchdown on a 46-yard rush. He also caught two passes for 16 yards and had a 25-yard kickoff return.

During the preseason, Knight was named to the watch list for the Hornung Award, which recognizes versatile, high-level performers and is presented by the Louisville Sports Commission. He was also named a preseason candidate for the 2021 Doak Walker and Maxwell Awards.

Knight has been NC State's leading rusher each of his two seasons and currently posts the top yards per carry average in Wolfpack career history with 5.75 yards per attempt. His 26.5 yard career average on kick returns ranks second in the Wolfpack record books.
