Wolfpack in Seventh Through Two Days at Bryan National Collegiate

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - In round two of the Bryan National Collegiate, the NC State women's golf team fired a seven-over par 295 on the Champions Course at the Bryan Park Golf Club, good for seventh place with one day of competition remaining.
Led by Lauren Olivares Leon, the Wolfpack saw five of the team's seven competitors improve upon their round one score.
Olivares Leon used back-to-back birdies on holes 16 and 17 to shoot an even-par 72, currently sitting tied for fifth through two days of play, trailing current leader Kaiyuree Moodley of Charlotte by four shots.
Top-seeded Natalie Armbruester used a one-under back nine en route to a three-over par 75, finishing day two at four-over for the tournament at T17th.
Isabel Amezcua was the team's biggest mover on the leaderboard throughout round two, using five birdies to finish at 73 (+1) and jump 13 spots up the leaderboard. Additionally, Inja Fric shot a three-over 75 to reach two-over throughout the tournament, and is one of three Wolfpack golfers sitting inside the top 25 heading into Tuesday's final round.
Lea Klimentova shot a six-over 78, rounding out NC State's five team competitors.
Nicole Kramer and Ryann Sinclair, both competing as individuals, added rounds in the seventies as well, with Kramer shooting a seven-over 79 and Sinclair tallying a five-over 77.
Through two rounds of play, NC State sits in seventh place at 591 (+15), with tournament co-host Wake Forest leading the field at 570 (-6).
Tuesday's final round will begin at 8:30 AM, with each Wolfpack golfer taking place in a shotgun start. Live stats will be provided on Golfstat.com.
