NC STATE CAREER
The only Wolfpack alum to tab three ITA All-America honors in his career (singles and doubles in 1980, doubles in 1981), Andrews remains one of NC State's greatest men's tennis players. He lettered in the sport from 1978-81 and competed in the NCAA Singles Championship in both 1980 and 1981, advancing to the third round of the tournament in 1980.
Andrews is tied for the most single-season doubles victories in program history with 20 wins alongside partner Mark Dillon in 1981. He collected 75 singles wins over the course of his career and holds the top career winning percentage in both singles and doubles in school history.

The Raleigh, N.C., native earned five ACC individual titles over the course of his career. He took the No. 5 singles conference championship in 1978 and followed it up in 1979 with the No. 2 singles ACC title.
1978 additionally saw Andrews take the ACC No. 3 doubles championship alongside Scott Dillon. He took back-to-back No. 1 doubles titles in 1980 and 1981, winning with Matt McDonald in 1980 and Mark Dillon in 1981.
NC State's indoor courts at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center are named for Andrews in celebration of his storied Wolfpack career.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Following his time at NC State, Andrews played as a professional on the ATP Tour for five years. During that time he claimed three doubles titles and competed in all four Grand Slam events, sometimes competing with Sadri in doubles. During his time as pro, Andrews achieved career-high rankings of No. 32 in doubles and No. 78 in singles.
