RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's golf head coach Press McPhaul announced the team's 2021-22 competition schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
The Pack will play five tournaments in the fall and six in the spring before NCAA postseason play begins in May.
NC State begins the season on Sept. 11 in Durham when it competes in Duke's Rod Myers Invitational.
The Pack has a busy October schedule where it will play four tournaments, headlined by its traditional home event, The Wolfpack Intercollegiate, on Oct. 16 and 17.
NC State starts the spring competition schedule with a trip to Florida to compete in the Camp Creek Invitational.
In March, the Pack heads to Pinehurst No. 2 to play in the Wake Forest Invitational.
The Pack closes the regular season with three tournaments where NC State will be the defending champion in all of them: General Hackler (March 13-14), Hootie at Bulls Bay (March 27-29) and the Stitch Intercollegiate (April 8-9).
The ACC Championship will take play April 22-25 in Watersound, Fla.
NCAA Regionals are scheduled to take play May 16-18 and the NCAA Finals are May 27-June 1 and will once again be held at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The NC State men's golf team returns three of its regular contributors from last season's team that won four events, the most in a single season for the program since the 1982-83 season.
