Program-Best Four Wolfpack Women's Tennis Players Named to 2021 All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Four members of the NC State women's tennis team earned recognition as part of the 2021 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning. The Wolfpack's four honorees marked the most in a single season in team history.

Jaeda Daniel, Adriana Reami, Anna Rogers and Alana Smith were all honored for their successes in the classroom and on the court. Rogers' honors were the second of her career, and the other three women were first-time honorees at NC State. Prior to 2021, NC State women's tennis had never seen more than two players garner All-ACC Academic Team status in the same season.

All four Wolfpack women were named 2021 ITA All-Americans, with Rogers garnering honors in both singles and doubles. That also marked the most honorees in a single season in the program's 44-year history.

To earn selection to the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative GPA during his or her academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered.
