Wolfpack Set to Compete at Oxford Regional In 2022 ITA Kickoff Weekend

RALEIGH - The NC State men's tennis program participated in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Kickoff Weekend Draft on Thursday, choosing to compete against No. 14 Ole Miss, No. 17 Illinois and No. 28 Oklahoma in the Oxford Regional. The Kickoff Weekend is set for January 28-31, 2022.

NC STATE IN THE ITA KICKOFF
NC State has found success in the ITA Kickoff Weekend in recent years. In 2020, the squad garnered the program's first ITA Indoor Championships appearance with wins over Utah State and No. 23 Virginia during the Kickoff Weekend.

The Wolfpack hosted an ITA Kickoff regional for the first time in 2021, welcoming No. 14 Tennessee, No. 15 Ole Miss and No. 26 Alabama to Raleigh. NC State defeated Alabama, 4-2, in its first-round matchup before falling to Tennessee in the regional championship match by a score of 4-1.
