#Pack9 Wraps Up Home Stand This Weekend Against Miami

RALEIGH – No. 24 NC State baseball (3-4, 0-3 ACC) will wrap up a 10-game home stand this weekend when it welcomes No. 6 Miami (3-3, 1-2 ACC) for a three-game series at Doak Field at Dail Park. The teams are set to play Friday at 3 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. in Raleigh.
All three games will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra, and there will be a free audio stream on WKNC 88.1 FM and the TuneIn App.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
With the recent updates to capacity guidelines for Doak Field at Dail Park, NC State Athletics is able to increase fan attendance for the remainder of the season. NC State student-athletes, NC State students and NC State baseball season ticket holders will all have increased allotments for upcoming games.
A limited concessions menu on the first base side will be provided this weekend for fans. Both cash and credit card will be accepted. Fans may still bring their own food and sealed drink into the stadium this weekend.

SERIES HISTORY
Heading into this weekend, NC State and Miami have met a total of 54 times. The Hurricanes lead the all-time series, 35-19.
The teams last met in Miami on March 22-24, 2019, and the Wolfpack swept the Hurricanes for the first time in program history.
The last time the teams met in Raleigh was on March 17-19, 2017, and NC State won the first two games to clinch the series.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State snapped a four-game loss streak on Tuesday afternoon at home when it defeated Campbell, 14-6.
Home runs by Austin Murr and Luca Tresh in the first inning helped the Wolfpack get off to a hot start, and three more runs in the second doubled the team's early lead. After tacking on a run in the fifth, a seven-run burst in the sixth gave NC State a commanding 14-0 advantage through seven complete.
The Camels managed to escape the shutout late in the game, as it scored five runs in the eighth then plated one more in the ninth.
WILLADSEN DEALING ON THE MOUND
Matt Willadsen had a phenomenal outing on Tuesday versus Campbell, as he did not allow a runner to reach base in the four innings he pitched. The performance earned him the second win of his career.
Additionally, he has not allowed a run to score in the last six innings he has thrown, dating back to Feb. 27 vs. Georgia Tech.
SCOUTING MIAMI
Miami went 12-4 in the shortened 2020 season and was picked to win the Coastal Division in this year's ACC Preseason Coaches Poll. Additionally, the Hurricanes are ranked among the top 10 in five of the six national polls heading into this weekend.
The Hurricanes opened its season with a series win over then-No. 1 Florida, then dropped two out of three against Virginia Tech last weekend to open ACC play.
Daniel Federman is the only veteran among Miami's starting rotation and leads the pitching staff with 14 strikeouts. Newcomer Alejandro Rosario picked up his first collegiate win on Feb. 27 versus Virginia Tech when he threw seven complete innings of shutout baseball.
Offensively the team is batting .239, led by Yohandy Morales (.370), Christian Del Castillo (.333) and Adrian Del Castillo (.320). Of its 51 hits this season, only eight have been for extra bases.
