Charleston Garners ACC Co-Track Performer of the Week Laurels

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Graduate student Cravont Charleston has been named ACC Co-Track Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Charleston shares the honor with Notre Dame's Yared Nuguse.

The Charlotte, N.C., native broke meet and facility records in the 100m and 200m at Raleigh Relays, running a 10.10 in the 100m that additionally was a personal-best mark and the fastest in the ACC. The time replaced his own second-best mark in program history in the NC State record book.

In the 200m, Charleston ran a 20.37 that checked in as the fifth-best time in NC State history. The mark was the fastest by an ACC runner in 2021 and was a new personal record.

Charleston rounded out his Raleigh Relays competition as the anchor of the 4x100m relay. The group ran a 39.66 that ranks 11th nationally and is the quickest 4x100m relay by an ACC team.
