Top Moments of 2019-20 Season:
Senior guard Markell Johnson became just the third-player in program history to record a triple-double when he scored 11 points, grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds and passed out 10 assists to lead NC State to an 83-63 win over The Citadel on Sunday, Dec. 22.
He is third player and the fourth triple-double in NC State history, joining Julius Hodge and former teammate Dennis Smith, Jr. (two times) in recording a triple-double. Johnson's triple-double is the 33rd in ACC history and he becomes the 27th player in conference history to post a triple-double.
Johnson was the only ACC player to post a triple-double this season.
He was named Co-ACC Player of the Week on Monday, Dec. 23 for his efforts.
