Pack Faces Duke in ACC Tournament Quarterfinals

Teams Split Season Series
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The NC State men's basketball team faces 10th-ranked Duke Thursday in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals held at Greensboro Colisuem.
The game is scheduled to tipoff around 2:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN with Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas and Allison Williams on the call.
NC State fans can also listen to Gary Hahn and Tony Haynes call the action on the Wolfpack Sports Network.
Pack Tracks
- NC State dropped Pitt, 73-58, Wednesday in the second round of the ACC Tournament.
- Devon Daniels led the Pack with 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting. The Battle Creek, Mich., native is averaging 15.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game over the last 10 outings. Daniels is one of just two players to appear in every game for NC State this season (Braxton Beverly is the other). Daniels has scored a team-best 406 points this year.
- C.J. Bryce posted his fifth double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds while D.J. Funderburk (10) and Braxton Beverly (10) also reached double figuers in scoring.
- Markell Johnson finished with 11 points, seven assists and two steals. The 11 assists are the second-most assists by an NC State player in 67 years of the ACC Tournament. Johnson went over 600 career assists during the game. He is the third player in NC State history to record over 600 assists and with 607 career assists he now ranks 25th on the ACC's career assists list. Johnson's 210 assists this season rank as the ninth-most for a single-season in NC State history.
- NC State has had a balanced scoring attack all season with its top four scorers separated by just 0.6 points scoring average. C.J. Bryce leads the Pack in scoring with a 13.3 points per game average. Markell Johnson and D.J. Funderburk both average 12.8 points and Devon Daniels is fourth on the team with a 12.7 points per game average.

- Thru games of Tuesday, March 10 - NC State has a 4-5 record against Quad 1 opponents and a 4-5 record against Quad 2 opponents.
- Two of the Pack's four Quad 1 wins are on the road. Overall, NC State has 4 Quad 1 and Quad 2 road wins.
