Dominique Wilson Signs Training Camp Contract with WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces

Former Wolfpack star has achieved success overseas after graduation

LAS VEGAS – Former NC State women's basketball standout Dominique Wilson has signed a training camp contract with the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, the club announced recently.
Wilson played a large role in NC State's success during the 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17 seasons. She played in 96 games, earned 84 starts, and averaged 31.8 minutes, 14.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. She currently ranks as the second most accurate free-throw shooter in program history, as she operated at a 324-382 (.848) clip at the free-throw line.
Wilson has achieved success with multiple European clubs since her graduation from NC State. The Powder Springs, Ga., native most recently played for Widzew in Poland, where she averaged 22.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. The year prior, she played for Norrkoping in Sweden, averaging 19.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
Las Vegas tips off its second season of WNBA competition at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on May 26. The Aces are coached by former NBA legend Bill Laimbeer.
