Wolfpack Secures No. 4 Seed for 2019 ACC Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. – For the first time since 2013, the 22nd-ranked NC State men's tennis team will be a top-four seed at the ACC Championships as it earned the No. 4 seed for the upcoming conference tournament.
As one of the top four teams in the league, the Pack earned a double bye and will kick off action in the quarterfinal round on Friday at 9 a.m. at the Cary Tennis Park. NC State will face the winner of the second-round match between No. 5 Miami and either No. 12 Clemson or No. 13 Boston College.
The Wolfpack finished the regular season 17-9 overall and 8-4 in ACC play. The eight wins in league action marked the most conference wins in a single season in program history. NC State defeated six nationally-ranked opponents during the regular season and spent the majority of the season ranked in the top 30, including six weeks ranked as one of the top 25 teams in the nation.
