Pack to Open 2019-20 Season at Home against Georgia Tech

RALEIGH, NC - The NC State men's basketball team will open the 2019-20 season with a home game against Georgia Tech on Tuesday, Nov. 5 as the Atlantic Coast Conference announced its slate of season-opening conference games that will tipoff the 2019-20 basketball season this afternoon.
NC State's game against Georgia Tech will be televised on the ACC Network. Owned and operated by ESPN in partnership with the ACC, ACC Network (ACCN) is a new 24/7 national network dedicated to ACC sports set to launch August 22, 2019.
The game against the Yellow Jackets will be the first of 20 ACC games for NC State in the 2019-20 season. Game time will be determined at a later date.
The Pack last opened its season with an ACC opponent on Nov. 30, 1979 when it played North Carolina as part of the Big Four Tournament. That game did not count towards either team's ACC record.
