
Women's Tennis Picks Up Ranked Wins on First Day at Orlando Invite

LAKE NONA, Fla. --Â The NC State women's tennis team opened up 2019 competition at the Orlando Invitational in Lake Nona, Fla., on Friday. The Wolfpack recorded five totals wins on the day, including two ranked singles wins.
The junior class earned the Pack's two ranked singles wins on the first day at the Orlando Invitational. No. 23 Anna Rogers recorded her 10th career win over a nationally-ranked singles opponent, defeating No. 34 Janet Koch (Kansas) in two sets, 6-0, 6-2. Adriana Reami's three-set victory over No. 70 Nina Khmelnitckaia (Kansas) marked her fifth ranked singles win in her career.
NC State's ranked singles players (No. 23 Anna Rogers, No. 111 Alana Smith) finished the day undefeated at 2-0 overall.
