Meyers Named ACC Receiver of the Week

Career-High Afternoon Earns Meyers Conference Accolade
RALEIGH – Redshirt junior wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has been named the ACC's Receiver of the Week after helping the Wolfpack to a 24-13 win over James Madison this past weekend.
Meyers finished the game with 14 catches for 161 yards. He set career-highs in the season opener for catches and receiving yards while playing on a sprained ankle.
With those numbers, Meyers set the record for most receiving yards in a season opening contest in program history. The last Pack member to record over 10 receptions in a game was Meyers, collecting 10 catches against Wake Forest last season. His performance on Saturday was his fourth 100-yard receiving game of his career.
